海凡,新加坡出生。写作人、水木作坊出版人。 曾参与马共领导的游击战争十三年。一九八九年马共与泰国及马来西亚政府签订合艾和平协议后,得以重返社会。 著有文集《雨林告诉你》、小说集《可口的饥饿》及《野径》、散文集《喧腾的山林》。《可口的饥饿》入选香港《亚洲周刊》二○一七年中文十大小说。 另以辛羽为笔名,书写岛国城市生活,著有散文集《倾听.回眸》、《瞬间.侧影》、小说集《芳林余韵》等。曾获金笔奖、第二、三、四届方修文学奖、世界华文微型小说双年奖。

Hai Fan, a Singapore-born writer, is also the publisher of Traveller Palm Creations. He was a participant of the guerrilla war led by the Communist Party of Malaya (CPM) and only rejoined society after the signing of the Hat Yai Peace Agreement between the CPM and the governments of Thailand and Malaysia in 1989. He is the author of literary titles such as The Rainforest Tells You, novels like Tasty Hunger, Wild Trails, as well as prose collections such as The Noisy Forest. Tasty Hunger was one of Hong Kong Yazhou Zhoukan’s selections as Top 10 Chinese novels of 2017. He also writes widely on Singapore’s urban life under the pen name Xin Yu. His other works include Listening, Looking Back, Moments, Profile and The Rhyme of Hong Lim. He has won the Golden Point Award, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th editions of the Fang Xiu Literature Awards, as well as the World Chinese Micro-Novel Biennial Award.
