黄道婆：革新棉纺织技术

Do you know who revolutionized cotton textile technology? How did people weave cloth hundreds of years ago when there were no large-scale textile machines? Huang Daopo, an innovator of cotton textile technology, was born in Wunijing, Songjiang. Her birth and death years are unknown. She was a famous cotton textile artist and technical reformer in the late Song Dynasty and early Yuan Dynasty. When she was young, she drifted to Yazhou, Hainan, and learned advanced cotton textile technology from local Li women. After returning to her hometown, she passed on the technology to her fellow villagers, playing an important role in the development of cotton textile industry and cotton planting industry in the Yangtze River Basin. Later generations praised her as a "female textile technician" who "clothed the world". Every child can become an inventor, understand Chinese creation, and gather Chinese wisdom.
