外公去上学

After Xiaodingzi’s grandmother passes away, his lonely grandfather falls ill and spends his days sitting quietly in a corner without speaking. Xiaodingzi’s mother enrolls him in a senior learning school, where he goes to class alongside his grandson, learns to paint, and even makes new friends, including Doudou’s grandmother. Though he remains a man of few words, he slowly rediscovers joy and purpose—perhaps that’s why he now seems to love going to school even more than Xiaodingzi does.
