This place is rather strange.
Here, people are divided into castes; low and high. Like on a ladder, the orcs are placed in the highest position on the ladder whereas humans are demoted to the lowest position. I realized this truth when I was a maid in Constant Love Orphanage.
But I never believed that such a “place” existed in this world and that my life was destined as just a maid.
Consequently, to get it out of my system, I decided to leave the strange place at seventeen.
“Do not put the blame on me for not giving you any advice. If you think that Constant Love Orphanage is such a terrible place with no love and care, then, my dear, the world outside is likewise a hell,” said Nana, the principal of the orphanage right before I left. You could never help but to believe it when you experience it.
