It aims to enable students to master the 48 common Chinese idioms while enjoying manga and animations. The printed manga book intends to raise students’ interest in reading and build up their reading ability. The DVD for students contains animated comics to enhance the listening ability of students and enrich their oral vocabulary. In addition to the animated comics, the DVD for teachers contains teaching plans and learning activities, with the proposed teaching approaches explained.
