It was Lao Zi who wrote the Chinese Scripture Dao De Jing, circa 540 B.C. He handed it over to Confucius who spent his whole life teaching Dao De Jing.

First, Lao Zi's insights into Heaven is best summarized in his descriptions of the Divinity of God, His creations and His leadership. His absolutely objective descriptions of the creation of the universe is beyond our imagination.

Second, his perfect intuitions of Earth or mankind, is essentially a school of thought about the science of humanities which confluence to a universal vision of a well-balanced, concordant and harmonious human society built around the divine way, namely, The Dao of Public governance and The Doctrine of Virtuous Governance. This book laid down a total of 290 leadership principles and 51 moral principles befitting of a true statesman.

Aforesaid, this book serves as the reference standard for us to distinguish the actions and behaviors expected from a true statesman. And anything that contravenes any one of these principles is deemed as exploitation by false or insincere leaders.

Excitingly, Lao Zi wrote about improving a fortuitous future for mankind by an all-inclusive way of ensuring future leaders faithfully abide by this exemplary standard which allows all of us to easily differentiate between good and inferior governments.
1.True leadership is leading the people to get things done for the people.
2.False leadership is managing people to get things done for oneself.
