Experience the exciting story of 明明 and 婆婆 as they hop on a magical flying cart to the National Library on Stamford Road. Explore the past, uncover dreams, and enjoy a day packed with fun activities!

Recommended for 5-8 years old

Venue: Maha Yu Yi 友谊书斋 @ #02-15, Bras Basah Complex

Registration Fee: $15 per child/parent pair
(includes a picture book worth $16.90!)

1️⃣ Storytelling by Author Clara Mok
Step aboard the Flying Cart! Our author will transport you to a fantastical world with their captivating tale. Feel the thrill of flying and the excitement of landing in unexpected places.

2️⃣ Roleplay: I Am A Librarian
Transform into little librarians or book explorers as we role-play the daily happenings at the library!

3️⃣ Outdoor Activity: See the Famous Red Bricks
Our Flying Cart lands at the National Library! Together, we’ll see the old Stamford Road building’s famous red bricks in the new library’s outdoor space, Memories Corner!

4️⃣ Author Signing Session
Our Flying Cart brings us back to Maha Yu Yi where we can ask author Clara for a special book signing. Don’t forget to snap a photo and ask about her Flying Cart inspirations!
